What is included in the General Admission?
General Admission includes entry to Sundays, access to our beach beanbags and towels (subject to availability), complimentary water sports equipment, and dining credit based on your ticket type.
Do you have a swimming pool?
We focus on offering an authentic beach experience rather than a pool setting. Guests of The Ungasan Clifftop Resort, located above Sundays, can enjoy the resort’s infinity pool with breathtaking ocean views.
Do you have lifeguards?
Yes, our certified lifeguards are on duty throughout the day to monitor tide conditions and watersports. All guests are expected to follow lifeguard instructions, as beach activities are at your own risk.
When are watersports available?
Watersports availability depends on tide and weather conditions.

We also post daily updates, including watersports and live music schedules, on Instagram and Facebook stories every day at 12 AM.
When is the best time to visit for sun exposure?
The amount of direct sunlight on the beach depends on the time of day and year. Since we’re on the southwest of the Uluwatu peninsula, we get glorious direct sunlight throughout the day. However, for those looking to maximize their sunbathing time, it’s worth noting that the sun begins to set behind the clifftop around 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM daily. We recommend arriving earlier in the day to enjoy the full sun for as long as possible.
How do you go down to Sundays?
You can either walk down the 270 steps or enjoy the ride and the view from our cable car. The cable car was built by Access Automation – a world-leading cable car company based in New Zealand. All parts and railings were designed and installed under direct supervision by Access Automation engineers, and the cable car is regularly serviced to ensure optimal safety. Guest safety remains our highest priority.
What kind of live music do you do?
Live music take place daily from 5 PM to 8 PM and is curated to enhance your sunset experience. It features acoustic bands, solo musicians, and vocalists. On the last Sunday each month, we host our signature themed event, Celebrate Sundays.

I am staying at The Ungasan, what are my benefits at Sundays?
Guests of The Ungasan Clifftop Resort enjoy complimentary entry and access to a dedicated hotel guest area on Sundays. Please note, space is subject to tide conditions and availability.
Do you have parking?
Yes, parking is available for cars and bikes. Hired drivers will receive a parking voucher to park at local community parking space, located just outside The Ungasan Clifftop Resort.
Do you provide luggage storage?
Yes, luggage storage is available at The Ungasan Clifftop Resort reception area.
Is there a shower at Sundays?
We do have showers for a simple wash.
